Hi there,
I was watching a Howard Pinsky design a case study on stream (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2d4we1y2LY&t=792s) and noticed @13:00 and @15:05 he was able to create a rectangle within a group without having to double click onto the group. When it comes to adding new elements to a group, i would always have to cut, copy, open the desired group layer and paste the new element into the group. Is there a keyboard shortcut to this ?

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for reaching out and using Adobe XD. In order to add an element with in a group. You can select the object in a group and manually draw an object within a group selected. You may also check out the video in this post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-xd/how-to-add-elements-to-an-existing-component-in-xd/td-p/1052... has a similar way of adding an object in a component.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks,

Harshika
