How to edit typeface in whole document in Adobe XD?

It would be so nice to be able to edit a typeface in the whole document instead of changing it one by one in the component section.

Well, that's exactly what Components should be used for... 😉

But I understand very well that not everyone is using Components, and not everything might be turned into Components.  And even if you do use Components, there might be a lot of them ! Which makes it just as hard to quickly change a font in the whole document.

 

That's why more 'matured' software like InDesign and word processors allow you to base similar features like Styles on eachother, making it possible to let one primary style c

But I understand very well that not everyone is using Components, and not everything might be turned into Components.  And even if you do use Components, there might be a lot of them ! Which makes it just as hard to quickly change a font in the whole document.

 

That's why more 'matured' software like InDesign and word processors allow you to base similar features like Styles on eachother, making it possible to let one primary style change, and let secondary ones follow suit. Or they offer elaborate Find/Replace features to just look for one aspect (a typeface), and ignore others (like size).

 

Adobe XD is at heart still a young application, in need of extension in many directions.

Feel free to request such a feature at UserVoice, as a matter of fact, there's already one !
