How to include an animated hero image in my website landing page presentation in Adobe XD?

I'm working for a client, and I want to show them my website landing page, and I would like the landing page could have some sort of animation, like a little character running across the screen and hopping onto the logo as it fades in. How do I achieve this with Adobe xd? If it can't be done, what software should I send the xd document to in order to achieve this?

How would you achieve this?
