How to increase contrast in the XD workspace?

I am having a very hard time distinguishing between when I have highlighted or selected a layer, icon, component, etc. in the XD workspace, and the parts that aren't selected. The blue tone that indicates selection is so light that I can barely see it. I have to squint and strain my eyes and it gets unneccesarily exhausting. It is my understanding that I can't do this at the moment, is this true?

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I am afraid, as of now, we don't have that option yet. We have received similar request on our XD UserVoice, I'd request you to please upvote this request: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/12940362-dark-interface-overall-ui-including-side-panels

This is the best way of communicating with the Engineering and Product Management teams regarding issues and suggestions so they can be implemented in future

The link you sent is 3 years old! Isn't this tool for experience design?

I hope you see the irony.
