Icons from Fontawesome font are showing as text in the XD file.

A few days back I have worked on a project from my laptop - about 20 mobile screens, where I used different icons from Fontawesome as a font. When switching to PC, all the icons were converted back to text, even though the font was still selected. Initially I thought it was because I haven't installed it on the PC, but it was. I wanted to delete the font and install it again, but Windows wont let me, saying it's in use. I tried deleting the font in all possible ways.

I would much rather replace the font somehow instead of writing again for all the icons.
Have you ever encounter this?

Hi there,

We are sorry to hear that you are facing trouble using font in Adobe XD. Could you please try creating a new file in XD on this PC and try to use to the fontawesome again and let us know if you're able to use and if it shows icons or text? I would also like to confirm if you are on the latest version of Adobe XD?
