Some of my grouped assets do not export as one item wheras others do, can anyone shed some light on this? I can't see how the assets differ from each other, they are all line drawings in XD. Thank in advanced!

I bet some of the "Mark for Export" indicators are set incorrectly.

Have a look at this example of some traffic light roses (yeah, a beauty...)

The red elements are marked for export, but not as a group – just elements.

The yellow elements are marked for export, both as group as elements.

The green one is only marked to export as a group. Does this help ?

Whar kind of assests includes each group object?

Are they created in the same manner or net?

Please create and test two simple groupe objects in a new scratch project. Describe the steps of creating process. That can help us to reproduce your bug.

Hi, thanks for your reply. The assets are the blue lines that makes up the Pharmacy icon on the left of my screengrab. Both this icon and Patient icon were created the same way, in Illustrator, then I opened the Illustrator file in XD and copied and pasted in onto my XD page.

What's the panel I'm seeing on the right ?

Looks like the Export Assets panel in Illustrator, but not exactly. It's neither the Creative Cloud Library. Is it just another artboard with all elements separately positioned ? Please describe a little further what's happening (setp by step), and what we're seeing here.

Hi, thanks for your reply. That's the developer export panel on XD, as you can see some of the icons are exported as a whole (the patient figures), while the pharmacy icon (little house) is exported in separate lines.

All the original icons were created in Illustrator, I opend the Illustrator file in XD and copied and pasted them onto my XD file.

HI everyone! I've sorted the issue. My sincere apologies but I didn't realise that I needed to mark the item for export AGAIN, AFTER I've grouped it.
