Hello everyone.

I installed Windows 10 yesterday because I wanted to finally do some basic animations/'prototypes for my UI app designs.

However, I keep encountering this problem with all my own project files from Photoshop, when importing them into XD.

Some layers are weird looking, some pictures are not clip masked, and other errors.

For example in this first example, I have this UI kit made, when importing the PSD into XD, the red color is wrong, the picture is not clip masked, the 'signal' dots from the Nav Bar are turned into squares, the battery icon also has some problems.

PSD:

ps1.PNG

XD:

xd1.PNG

Same problems with other project of mine:

PSD:

ps23.PNG

XD:

x2.PNG

Same problem with the battery, signal dots, wrong colors, clipping mask, weird looking squares on the Tool Bar, etc etc..

When I try to import other UI Kits, I have no problems with them.

Any fixes?

Hi Dumitrelm,

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble importing Photoshop files in XD. I'd like to know the color mode of the files in Photoshop. I would suggest trying changing the color profile to sRGB IEC61966-2.1 in Photoshop. Please see this page for more info: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-change-my-monitor-profile-to-check-whether-its-corrupted/  and restart the computer after changing the color profile.

Let me know if that works for you.

Thanks,

Harshika
