Incorrect space after font characters such as joined ligatures

Please see the screenshot... when the font does the combined letters such as "fi", "ff" in Adobe XD it leaves a space except there is no space to remove and you can't kern the characters in like you can in InDesign... which makes sense for html but this text will be exported as an image for an email campaign. The font being used is Museo Sans.

Further to this - if you have different character weights within the same text box it does this but if you split out the header text with the different weight from the body text the problem disappears.

Yes, I get exactly the same issue. Thanks for the workaround – not ideal, but better than nothing.

 

Adobe, this is a 100% bug that needs to be fixed. It happens in almost every font I have installed – mainly Adobe fonts too!
