Is Overlay available in Free Version?

I just want to explore the XD as much as I can. I was just watching videos about it and find out the overlay but when I tried my XD I didn't find overlay there. So let me help me in this.

I tried that. But the problem is, I didn't find Overlay option in my XD.

It works with free version. My students use it.  Are you working in Design or Prototype Mode?

Overlay shows up in Prototype more only. But the problem is, I can't see the overlay option.
