The problem is that from the get-go, I cant use my keyboard shortcuts, or type anything anywhere in the app. And iv tried multiple keyboards so its not just mine peripherals.
I've tried :
- restarting my computer
- downloading an older
- downloading it from the site as opposed to within the creative cloud app
Does anyone know a fix for this, please let me know, Thanks!

Is it Windows? mac? Could you tell me more about the environment?
i have a windows computer
- cpu: ryzen 5 1500x
- gpu: nvidia gtx1060 3gb
- 1T HDD
We are sorry to hear you are facing trouble using keyboard in Adobe XD. In additin to what Peter has suggested, could you please confirm if you are able to use keyboard in other Adobe apps or non-Adobe apps?
We will try our best to investigate about the issue.
If your keyboard stop working
1- "Windows Key" + "R" - Run a command
2- Write this: C:\Windows\system32\ctfmon.exe
3- Press Ok
It works for me
