Latest Adobe XD installed was creating a Lags and often crashed.

Hello. I'm having issues with my latest version of Adobe XD installed on my computer. Before I installed it, there's no problem in my end in the last version: no often lags, no often crash and I can open multiple cloud documents at the same time. But after I installed the latest version, there are so many issues in my end. Actually I decided to reinstall before because the day after I installed the latest version, opening a cloud document got slower; i can't open maybe 3 clouds document at the same time because once I do that, I already can't use my computer because of the heavy lag that is happening so the only way to use it again is by restarting my computer which is I think its bad if I often do that. So I decided to reinstall it again the latest version, try removed the cache if this will work as a solution to the problem since I saw this here on forum. But 2 days after reinstalling, it happened again. I can't even use my laptop once it hangs because of opening another document or copying a little element to another document. Hope you will help me on this. It affects my time of work since my current job is using adobe XD. Thank you so much.

Hi Julie,

 

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Could you please try uninstalling the application using Adobe Cleaner Tool and then re-install the application and check how it works. If it still works slow, please share a few more details like:

 

  1. A screenshot of the About XD info page and the version of the OS build.
  2. A screenshot of Task Manager capturing XD process memory utilization.
  3. Does this happen only while working on Cloud Document?

I'm having the exact same issue! I have a high end macbook pro from last year. Its lagging to the point where I cant really use it for work anymore...

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I'd recommend uninstalling the application using Adobe Cleaner tool: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

 

Once uninstalled and then re-install the application and let us know if it works fine or if you need any further assistance.
