Linked components not updating between docs

Hi there,

I'm new to XD and currently experiencing an issue with linked components. When I choose 'Edit main source in document' option and then edit and save the changes, the component does not update when I switch to the working doc? In other words, it hasn't recognised that any changes have been made to the master. I have tried re-installing and even tried earlier versions but it doesn't seem to help. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm using the latest Mac version.
