I'm new to this so if it's something obvious then i'm sorry but I saved my project to my computer when i logged back on it wasn't there. I checked for my recent backups and in my deleted but it wasn't there either. Around 30 mins earlier I had a crash and when XD opened back up the file had restored to its previous session. So I definitely have a backup/saved version of the file but I can't find it anywhere.

p.s. i've checked app data and creative cloud

There isn't an efficient way to recover files saved to your computer. While this may not be the answer you are looking for, I suggest saving to the cloud unless there is a compelling reason to save to your computer.

Can you go to the menu and Open Recent? Is this where you're saying the file isn't showing up?
Are you on Mac or PC?
