Sorry to hear you are facing lagging issues with XD. We would like to know a few more details that will help us investigate about the issue-

 

  • When is it running slow?During any action?
  • Is it happening with a specific file or all the files?
  • It would be really helpful if you can share the workflow for better understanding.

 

We would suggest signing out of XD and Creative Cloud and sign back in and then restart the machine.

It happens every time I click save on my files which are stored on my
system. and this is happening with every file, I cannot share the work flow
because it is confidential office work.
