Over Scrolling Artboard Reveals Black Background

My artboard background is white but when I over scroll the viewport an unsightly black background is revealed. Am I doing something wrong or is this a known issue with XD?

Ah, kinda obvious: add a box with same colour background as artboard, fix when scrolling, and send to back.
