Prototype Page Order

Does anyone know if there is a way to set the page order for how artboards are sequenced in the prototype?

When I use the arrows to navigate through a published prototype, the order appears to be fairly random, and I would like to define it if possible.

Cheers,

Lachlan.

Hi,

the order should be from left to right and then from top to bottom in the design file. Is this not the case for you? If so, could you send us your design file?

Thanks, Corrinna

Hey Corrinna,

Definitely not the case for me. How should I get my design file to you?

Cheers,

Lachlan.

I have the same problem. Tried to rearrange the artboards but that had no effect.

Dear Corrinna,

I just updated to the latest XD release.

However I still have the initial problem described in this post: randomly ordered artboards in the export (both pdf as well as shared online).

You said, that you fixed it, right?

What am I supposed to do in order to arrange the output order corresponding to "from left to right".

For your information: my artboards are wired.

Many thanks,

Markus

I have this problem and it's a year after this thread says it was fixed. My artboards are all left to right, but a couple are out of order. I cannot find any way to affect change that doesn't make it worse.

Adobe Staff! Please post the answers and suggestion on the post instead of doing it privately. There are many people having the same issue and trying to find the solution that Adobe can't provide

Is there a new way of solving this problem on the latest 2020 version?

"We lay things out from left-to-right, top-to-bottom when we share. However, only the artboards that are connected to the home artboard are included in the list. Are you seeing something different?"

If that is not working, also check the layer order in the Layers panel to see if that affects things.
