Super basic question:
I want to have rollover and click states for some of my buttons.
In order to do this in XD, do I need to link the alternate states (Separate graphics) within the Prototyping function? Or is there a simpler way to do it?
Am I supposed to do this as an Overlay?
I have a feeling this is done some way otherwise and I simply don't know the correct term for it in XD.
Please advise.
Thanks.
There is no rollover action in XD - but looks like it's coming soon?

It strikes me as kind of incredible it doesn't exist already.
What are XD users doing instead?

You could probably simulate a rollover effect using the overlay feature until an actual rollover option is included.

Well that’s encouraging.
How long does that usually take?
and what can I do until then?

Please give us this ASAP!! Amazing how many seemingly 'no braining' features are still to be included! Isn't a rollover one of the most fundamental elements of UX?

I am still waiting for this feature myself... This, embeddable overlays and an infinite canvas 😉

We understand that this is really a great feature and the status has been changed to Feature Started in uservoice. We would request you to please stay tuned to the XD update blog page here:https://theblog.adobe.com/tag/xd-updates/ for checking the latest feature in Adobe XD.
Thanks,
Harshika

Hi Thomas,
I noticed your question in the list of "Related questions" below another one.
And I wondered: did you check out these new Component States already ?
