I've got a couple of projects saved in the cloud. After the newest big update dropped that changed the way projects are shared, I can't share some projects. The right panel doesn't show sharing options when entering the SHARE tab. Take a look https://www.loom.com/share/10791cd5c49848ffa6824f807a9fb5cb

Some projects work fine while others can't be shared. The client is really pissed off that I can't send him the links and the development is pretty much stuck because of that.

I've tried uninstalling the app, but it doesn't help.

Any solution?

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for reaching out and sorry to hear you are having trouble using share panel in XD. We have investigated that this is happening when the components don't have the defined destination. Could you please check if you have set a valid destination for the components or try to delete the interaction?

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Harshika

After building the prototype, I'm trying to share this with my colleagues and can't generate a link because the panel appears with the design options in a disabled mode.

In one particular XD document I have come across an issue a couple of times, where the Share functionality simply will not activate (switch to Share tab, 0 artboards selected and share options panel does not display) - I have tracked down the issue to 4 specific elements/layers (grouped elements) in one of the artboards. When these 4 elements are deleted from the layout, Share works as expected. If I completely ungroup the elements, Share works as expected.

The elements in question are not Components. The required artboards ARE linked in the Prototype. I tested randomly renaming the groups/layers, to no effect.

What about the grouping of these elements could be causing Share to be unavailable? Is there a limit to depth of groupings?
