[Text]-Is it possible to hide text with an overlay or changing the opacity in XD?

Is there a possibility to hide a text element, if a different element is selected? Maybe with an overlay or a change of the opacity?

I believe this would definitely be possible using an overlay.
From each selectable element create a page with a shape or something covering the area you want hidden. In the Prototyle step with the object selected choose Overlay as the Action Type and point the link to the page with the shape covering the area you want to hide.
