[Text]-Tildes popping up in paragraphs in XD.

Im working with XD (as I do most days) and when using several fonts I get tildes popping up throughout my copy when using hard or soft returns. It's not every font, just a select few. It's really annoying and I can't present work to client with tildes throughout it.
I can't simply use another font because these clients are often huge companies with strict brand guidelines, (Spotify for example). I have attached an image for refrence.

Thank yor for reaching out. I have never seen this issue before on community. Could you please share the few more details like-

• What is the name of the font you are using?
• Is it happening with this specific file or all the files?
• What is the OS and XD version of your machine?

I can't remember all of the fonts that this happens to but this specific file is using, Battersea Sans, provided to me direct from client for the purposes of their campaign. 
I have had this happen to multiple files before not just this current one. It hasnt been an issue in the last 4 months so I assumed it was fixed with an update til its return this morning. 
XD version 28.3.12 on Mac OS Catalina Version 10.15.3

It doesnt happen often but it does occur everynow and then.
