Type tool - Text got overwritten while inserting text - Windows

I created a text box and typed text in it. When I wanted to insert a word in between two words, I noticed that what I inserted overwrote the letters after that. 

Reproduce steps:

1. Create a text field, and start typing. For example, AdobeXD

2. Insert a space between Adobe and XD

3. Adobe D (What I expected is Adobe XD, the space deleted the X)

Version: 22.3.12.3, Creative Cloud Sync 4.3.12.14

Thank you for reaching out and sharing the steps to reproduce. I have followed the same steps on windows 10 on the latest version of Adobe XD (23.1.32.2) and i am unable to reproduce the same.

However, I would request you to please update XD to the latest version and let us know if that helps.

Can it be that you had accidentaly pressed the insert-button on your keyboard? That would produce exactly the result that you are describing.
