Unable to launch XD on macOS

hi Adobe Team,

I'm experiencing issues with XD. The desktop app never opens, the icon keeps boucing on my dock and when it finally loads it runs very slow, it doesn't even gives me the option to open my files. I've got an MacBook Pro, I've reinstalled Creative Cloud and XD a few times, but I can't make it run. I've also tried to open xd files but gets stuck and never loads. When I check on my Activity Monitor it shows red flagged: XD (not responding).

Is there anything I can do to fix the issue?

Hi Paula,

 

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Could you please confirm if XD is updated to the latest version which is 36.2? If not,  I'd recommend reinstalling the app. Please un-install XD using the Adobe Cleaner tool: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

 

Once uninstalled, please re-install and let us know if that helps or if you need any further assistance.
