Unable to save changes in collaboration file

I have been trying to work on a collaboration file shared with me by my team. It was working fine for about a week. However, starting last week, I cannot make changes to the file. Whenever I tried to save, a modal pops up saying I have unsaved local changes. Some things I tried include:

  • Updating to the latest version and rolling back to previous versions of XD
  • Reinstalling XD

None of these solved the issue. I have been working on local files but I have to eventually move things to the cloud. It is really frustrating that XD has issues with such basic issues.
