Hi there!

My problem with XD is very strange, I just can't type anything anywhere... can't rename the file, can't set any number, can't type anything in any field.

Why?
Can you help me please?

Yes, is the only software to do so

Yes, I uninstalled/reinstalled

Yes, CC version

NOTE: The only thing that seems to work in keyboard is ALT+SCROLL to zoom in/out

That doesn't look quite right to me and thank you for performing the troubleshooting steps. I'd like to know a few more details like:-

  • The OS and XD version of your machine.
  • Since how long you are experiencing this issue?
  • Is it happening randomly with all the files or with a specific file?

I understand that you've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, however, I'd request you to please try to do a clean reinstall using this link: Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems and let us know if that works.

Thank you for your reply.

I tried to remove it with the tool following every step.
Then reinstalled via CC after restarting

XD Version 21.2.12

OS Win10

Still the same, can't type anything.

It never worked

It happens with downloaded files and new projects.

What it could be?
