Hi,

I am not able to update to the latest version of XD (28.x.x.x). Currently my version is still 27.2.12.4 and i have tried all the solutions in the forum such as uninstalling and re-installing and others and still no results. All my colleagues have updated successfully and now i cannot opent their files and as it is not backward compatiable. Can Adobe do something about it as it is really hindering the ability to collaborate. Appreciate if Adobe can ensure backward compatibility, especially when there are so many people facing update issues.

It is possible that previous versions of applications that are installed on your computer are causing this issue. If you are still facing this issue, can you try uninstalling XD using the Creative Cloud cleaner https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html and let us know if it helped? Hi, have you checked if there are any updates to the Creative Cloud app? Check if there are also updates for your operating system.
