XD doesn't launch after recent update.

Hello awesome people, i hope you can help me with this one.

So i just got an update for XD this morning (around like half an hour ago), i updated XD but when i launch it, nothing happens.
All i get is this white screen and then it goes away.

This is what i get when i launch XD and then nothing happens.

i'm running on Windows 10 Home, with Creative Cloud 4.8.0.421, i can't tell which XD version i have at the moment cause it doesn't launch (i've kept XD up to date so there's no way i'm running any old version ) Adobe XD CC​

I have also the same issue. After updating tomorrow, when I launch XD it's not opening, just taking few sec and it closes automatically. Here is the screen recorder

Can you let us know of the version of Windows 10 that is installed on your computer?

If you are on Windows 1809, can you try these solutions and let us know if they helped?

Same here, I cannot start XD on windows 1809.

Preran​ that link doesn't help, it's already as described and it keeps crashing every time.

Same issue, before I had the error 50 and now this. Have the XD installed for more than a month now and haven't been able to use it to date.

I have the newest version. Windows 1809.

Based on the info that was sent to me over a private message, I am providing these troubleshooting steps that were shared with me by the tech support team. If you aren't confident trying these on your own, you can get in touch with the tech support team using this link Contact Customer Care

  1. Uninstall XD.
  2. Quit Creative Cloud Desktop application, and kill all related processes from Task manager.
  3. Delete temp files by going to run(Win+r) then %temp%
  4. Delete Adobe XD CC folder from  C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe
  5. Uninstall all Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages
  6. Restart  computer and install XD
