Hi guys,

I have quite a stupid question.

I'm wondering which program designers are using to put their work together (making a composition/ study case) like in this case here: Behance

Are they using InDesign? Illustrator?

You can use whatever you like but generally speaking AI to create graphical elements, XD to put together the UI, AE to create animation, and PSD to put composition together. ID is for creating PDF (although you can use it to create UI and composition)

Hi samuele3032,

Just to let you know, on Behance, uploading a case study is actually a number of slides, may containing a GIF, video or an image. You can upload static images or 1 static image created using Photoshop. As far as GIF and video is concerned you can create in AI and upload it directly. It will appear as a separate slide. You can check the number of slides in a case study by clicking while scrolling.
For eg:
1) Its an image slide.

2) Its a GIF slide.

No need to make a composition. Upload each image/gif/video as a separate slide.

Regards.

@fahad_dexter Thanks for your answer

And if you then want to export it. Let's say if you want to send it, print it or use it for your portfolio?

Each media remain a slide separately. You cannot export the whole case study collectively. Yes you can send the URL of your case study to anyone you want. Plus your case study will remain part of your Behance portfolio.

Regards.

Hope that helps!
