Xd presentation in web browser needs to fit design in browser viewport

Hi, when sharing a link and viewing prototypes in a web browser, you need to be able to fit the design in the browser as opposed to it only being actual size.

For example I have a 1080 **portrait** touch screen mockup that when viewed in the browser you can only see about a quarter of it... I then have to tell clients to CMD/CTL- to shrink the design which is clunky.

Fullscreen doesn't seem to do much it just removes the nav which doesn't take up too much space anyway...

Thanks

Hi Oliver,

Thank you for bringing this up.

I tried to reproduce this issue, unfortunately, I couldn't.

There could be two possibilities here.

Firstly, the artboard viewport size could be larger than the one you actually selected. In this case, We'll have to scroll down to view the rest of the artboard.

Secondly, since you told you had to ask the clients to shrink the design, it may be because of the resolution of the screen they are viewing the design. Could you check the screen resolution and try?

We suggest you use the recommended screen resolution for the monitor.

If in case, these don't work feel free to revert with the browser, OS, screen resolution you are using and also the XD file along with the link that is created for the file. We'll investigate further on this and check what the issue is.

Regards,

Rajesh KN

Hi Rajesh thanks for your quick response, yes correct the problem is because the artboard is bigger than the viewport of the browser window, what I mean is there should be a feature to scale down the artboard so the height of the design is within the height of the browser.
