Zeplin export won't show in Adobe XD

Hi!

I have zeplin installed on my mac and I have the latest version of Adobe XD but when I try to export my screens to Zeplin the alternative won't show up in the list under File > Export.

Anyone know what the problem is and how I could solve it?

Posting a solution here below that worked for me for issue of Select Projects Modal (of Zeplin) not showing up:

 

- Uninstall Zeplin (Delete from your downloads / applications folder and recycle bin) 

- Downgrade Adobe XD to Version 35 from Creative Cloud

- Restart your Macbook

- Download Zeplin back from Zeplin Website

- Open Adobe XD 

- XD will ask for permissions to open Zeplin (Click on Allow / Okay)

- Export Modal from Zeplin now visible👍

- Now upgrade the Adobe

Had the exact same issue on windows 10, would get this error msg: "Exporting from XD failed
Try exporting using our new XD plugin, currently on beta. The new plugin is built to solve most common export issues. For any questions, contact us at support@zeplin.io"


In a nutshell, Zeplin standard  XD export method seems broken, the work around is using the plugin. (no need to reinstall XD or even restart, reboot anything..)
1-Install XD pluggin :Plugins > Browse Plugins ... > Search for Zep

With the latest XD update (41.1), you should be able to see the Zeplin option in the export menu as well. Please try that and let us know if it works.

Thanks, this works! Once I updated Zeplin to 3.15, using "Zeplin for XD (Beta)" from the Plugins menu worked great. (Zeplin's app still says to go to File > Export > Zeplin, which does not work.)

Hi, my Xd version is lasted and i did not find 35 version. I don't export to Zeplin.

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Could you please try the steps shared below:

 

  1. Please uninstall Zeplin and delete it from your downloads / applications folder and recycle bin.
  2. Once done, please restart macOS.
  3. Download Zeplin from the Zeplin website. 
  4. Launch XD and Zeplin will ask for permission, please allow that and check if you are able to export.

There is no need to downgrade XD

I had the same issue when I started using MacOS version of XD.

Here's how I fixed it:

In XD go to :Plugins > Browse Plugins ... > Search for Zeplin > Install "Zeplin for XD (Beta)" plugin

 

Now for exporting:

Select your artboards > go to Plugins > Zeplin for XD (Beta) > Export Selected

XD and Zeplin export traditional methods
> File > Export > Zeplin Select > End

How XD and Zeplin Export Changed
> Plug-in > Zeplin Select > Web page open (with or without program open)> End
+ problem with XD off due to error

Adobe does not make the Zeplin plugin, so you should be contacting them for support. But have you tried any of the solutions talked about here? https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-xd/adobe-xd-artboards-not-export-to-zeplin/m-p/11779977

Hello Team,
Facing similar issues exporting to Zeplin. I'm using Adobe XD 40.0.22 and Zeplin 3.20 versions. For me, File>Export>Zeplin just opens Zeplin but nothing happens from the start so installed a Zeplin plugin beta which was available in the plugin browser. Exporting using the plugin worked till yesterday but today after changes to my design when I try to export it's showing an error.
