blank tabs on script with new UI

hello, i might've found a bug that makes multiple 3rd party scripts unusable. I've found the issue with a script that lets me interpolate short clips and automatically replace them in my timeline. The script has 3 tabs of which the most important one - the settings tab - is just blank on the new beta UI. Ive got 3 pictures to make things more clear. 
This 1st picture shows the normal panel of the script (Ae beta 2024-03-26)

A very basic script (the 2nd tab works too).

 

This is how the script looks after clicking on the settings panel (Ae beta 2024-03-26):

As you can see, its just fully blank. No respond on any clicking or anything, just empty.

 

And this is how its supposed to look like (Ae stable 24.2.1)

This settings tab has got even more stuff as you scroll down the panel.

I tried out multiple different settings in my preferences but it really just doesnt seem to work. 
Hope this can be fixed, i love the new UI and the performance with it.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We are actively working on improving script ui to work with the new skin. I will reach out to this script creator to see if we can figure out what is going on with this particular script.

If it is happening to multiple it is likely a common root.  Do you know if the issues you have seen with this and other scripts all related to multiple tabs or not?

I looked into this a bit further and have found that it is likley due to firewall permissions in relation to access to your network this panel requests. It will look something like a windows firewall warning asking if you would like to give CEP (that is the type of panel this is) from Adobe access to your private network. If you accept, it will display the settings panel. If you don't, it will remain blank likely due to missing network permissions.

Hello! 
Thank you for looking into this.

I currently dont know if this issue is caused by having multiple tabs on a script, it also could be caused by other factors in the script. The settings panel for example has Hyperlinks too, i am no expert so i can't really tell what the problem is.

I've tried out manually giving Adobe CEP access to both private and public network over my firewall because i didn't get any "Permission Request" to begin with. I tried out opening the settings panel, still blank. I reached out to the creator of the script too and he said:  "it is empty because the extension can't build the settings tab, it happens when the extension can't get the render templates, models names... I never managed to reproduce this error. When, for me, the settings tab is empty, every other tabs are empty (not only the settings tab)". I tried resetting the preferences and reinstalling the whole beta software but it still doesnt show anything. Its a weird problem and i have no clue where the core to it lies.

My local reproduction was when I denied the permissions. Are you on a Mac or Windows system? This might give you some things to try if you are on a windows system: https://superuser.com/questions/1154812/how-to-re-trigger-windows-firewall-has-blocked-message

Otherwise you could try the release version of AE and see what the name of the application is if you see the dialog there. Beta and release have different paths to the CEP application so each need permissions separately and if you haven't tried the panel in the release version yet it will need to ask you for permission. That or installing a previous version of AE might also display it when trying to load the settings of that panel. 

I can check internally if we can find the exact path for the process asking for network permissions that you would need to allow for that panel to display.

I've tried it out what the article said about retriggering the Firewall. I accepted the request from Windows but it still wouldn't fix the problem. Its still empty. Does it work on your Computer? I really can't think of another cause anymore. The last thing i would want to do is resetting my Windows... I appreciate the work your putting into this problem and the help.
