Layers Not Showing Up While Others Spontaneously Disappear or Show Up

Participant ,

I haven't had this issue yet, but I have noticed similarly-related issues regarding layers not appearing properly or disappearing. Namely, masks. But in this instance, it's an entire layer that wasn't showing up. And then, the layer appeared when I scrubbed through my composition. But another layer disappeared.

I've got 128 Gigs of RAM at 5600 Hz and a 3090 GPU with a i9 139500 CPU.

Wasn't having these problems before Beta.

Can you capture a video of what you're seeing? What Beta build are you using? Are you using Classic 3D or Advanced 3D? Please provide as much detail as you can so we can attempt to reproduce and understand the issue further.

To start, I have the latest update for AE Beta. And I've tried both Advanced and Classic 3D.

Also, all my layers are 3D.

Interestingly, I just found a new behavior. Firstly, I tried scaling down my images, just to see if that might help. I thought it had helped last time. But no good. Lightening the "load," so to speak, isn't helping. And my stats are well in the green on memory, RAM, GPU, CPU, etc. But I doubled-clicked a file, the layer for which just blinked out, and it appears in a preview window fine, but not in the comp preview. Also, when I double-clicked the follow, another layer that had disappeared, reappeared.

Ugh!

What is happening?

Have you updated your GPU drivers recently? If not, can you?

LATEST

I'm up-to-date on drivers across the board.

Beyond that, I have rebuilt my scene with all images scaled down. Everything is good-to-go, presently.

If it happens again, I'll take a few screenshots. I'll also be paying special attention until I'm certain the issue has passed or is solved with a later, likely soon, update.

Thanks for the input, everyone.
