...which is odd.

Hi @hellopaul4,

Thanks for making this report. We aren't able to reproduce this same behavior on our end without a bit more info on the state AE is in when you encounter this error. Does the error show up any time you hit Esc, regardless of having a comp open or a layer selection? And is it occurring in the latest build 49?

I updated to release 49 today, and can't replicate the issue now.
