We have discovered a problem in 24.6 (latest AFX build) where some EXR sequences have the incorrect gamma applied to it. The only work around is to reimport the same file again and the gamma is imported correctly.
So far we have isolated the issue to 24.6 - when running the same project in 2023 and then 24.5, the files are brought in correctly.
This is affected Windows and Mac systems - it is very much affecting After Effects as a whole.
