Lots of crashing in 2024

Random crashes and daily BSOD crashes.

AE version 24.6.0 (24.6.1 crashed every time I opened Mocha Pro)

Windows11 ver 10.0..22000

Running latest version of Maxon Complete and Boris Sapphire. I was told to disable all plugins but this is the same as asking me to not work. The Event viewer shows about 25 errors just prior to the crash with the last one being an Application error reading:

That seems to indicate the issue is with Acrobat, not After Effects? Perhaps try uninstalling Acrobat and see if it continues?

Great suggestion. Will do. But I will need to reinstall it soon as I use frequently.

Did uninstalling Acrobat help? If so, what version of Acrobat are you using? Are there any error messages or crash reports from After Effects? Also, is there anything specific that triggers the crash or is it random?

I have not recieved another BSOD crash but as you know there is no AE error message with a catastrophic crash like that. I keep my adobe products up-to-date so I'm rarely behind for more than a day or 2. I have kept Acrobat off my system trying to exclude or isolate it as the BSOD crash.

Overall bugginess as it relates to Mocha continues. That is another issue. Something I have noticed with AE 2024 most crashes are sudden and abrupt without messages. I regularly interact with a half dozen other AE artists and everyone is having issues with 2024 that we never encountered in 2022 or 2023.

We've heard of some recent crashes with Aspera Connect installer, or Trend Micro Anti-malware. If you have either of those installed, try uninstalling them and see if the issues continue.

I don't have either of those.
