Low Memory Ram, MacBook m3 pro 18 gigs ram

hi

after effect is using too much ram for no reason and I can only playback about 2 seconds.

here is the process:

1-impoted one 4k video

2-tracked in mocha ae

3- duplicate layer and mask one

3- applied a stroke to the track data

I used two versions:

23.6.2

beta 24.2

Im using macbook pro m3 pro 18 gigs of ram.

tried using proxies and the other methods, they doesn't work, so I'm using my windows laptop core i5, 24 gigs ram 3050 to rxt I don't have any ram issues it works but it is just slower.

it esspecialy happens when i apply a stroke to masked track data and keframe the stroke

incase you faced that problem, use lower versions of after effect

Can you try the latest version of After Effects and see if the issue persists?
