MOGRT Media Replacement not working anymore

I created a simple lower third in AE to use for a project and when I imported into Premiere Pro, it worked fine. I was able to replace my 1024x1024 icon with another, through the Project browser or directly from Explorer. A week later it's not working. The options in the panel to import are also greyed out. I didn't include any 3rd party plugins or anything. When I start a brand new AE project, Premiere still isn't lketting me replace the image. What happened? I've tried in 2022 and 2023.

I figured it out. I wasa trying to drag to the Effects panel., not Essential Graphics
