No descriptors or anything written in After Effects 25.1

I have been running AE 25.1 with no problem (or maybe it ws an older version. Today I open a project on my Mac running Sonoma 14.6.1 and there is no written information on the screen. The only words on the entire screen are the menu items on the right. When I move something to the render cue, it also is blank:

 

 It's a little hard to work with out the written info, names etc.
