Rotobrush 3.0 crashes with unexpected exception, on same frame every time

I have several long ProRes shots that I've broken up into 10-second chunks with shutter encoder, and dropped into sequences so that I can more easily rotobrush.

I have been using rotobrush on these sequences for several weeks without issue. But today Rotobrush has started crashing AE on a new sequence. It specifically crashes when another person crosses in front of the person I'm rotobrushing. At several times across the sequence a person crosses, and each time AE crashes with a rotobrush error "unknown exception".

The strange thing is, people crossed in front of my subjects in other shots I was working on just a day or two ago, and it never caused any problems.

I have reinstalled AE on windows 10, flushed the caches, etc.  My PC has 128 RAM.  I have 3 TBs on an SSD for the cache.

Update: When using rotobrush 2.0 instead, it doesn't crash.

The strange thing is that I went back to a previous shot-sequence and re-ran rotobrush 3.0.   Someone crossed in front of my roto subject, and it continued to run without issue.

Update 2: It appears that the crashing on my new shot occurs when the rotobrush isn't recognizing anything, i.e. there is no roto boundary on-screen.

Thanks for creating the detailed post. Ideally, Roto Brush should not crash no matter what's happening in the scene. Can you try transcoding the clip again and check if that brings any change? If it doesn't, please share the media to test on my end.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,
Nishu
