Slight Bug With The Effects Control Panel

After Effects 24.6.2 (Build 2)

When a layer is deleted, the Effects Control panel displays the effects of another layer in the composition, even though that layer is not selected in the composition.
The expected behavior would be for the Effects Control panel to be empty.

Interestingly, the bug fixes itself after a while.

Composition hierarchy:

  1. Null 3 --> Effect > SLIDER 3
  2. Null 2 --> Effect > SLIDER 2
  3. Null 1 --> Effect  > SLIDER 1

Thanks for the report. It does look like the layer selection is not being shown after that delete. We'll take a look.
