In my color picker in after effects I type in C8102E as the hex code but it gives me pink instead of red.... How do I fix this? I changed precomp/project to 8bit instead of 16 bit. I changed color profile to Rec709 gamma. but that didnt fix the issue. I've fixed this once before but i cant remember what the fix was. does anyone know? I think the issue started happening after I upgraded to Mac Os Sequoia. It asked me if I wanted to either grant screen permission to AE for 1 month, or the other option just took me to system settings but showed that AE already had some permissions but I suspect that OS is hindering the screen recording of AE because when I use my eye droplet tool to sample a dark red it gives me a pink.

If you updated the OS, it probably reset the color management. check your system control panel and the AE preferences for this stuff.

I believe i checked my AE preferences as described in the paragraph above. It would be helpful if you could tell me which preferences i'm checking for and what to set them to.
