3D objects not moving in Z space

Explorer ,
Aug 10, 2018 Aug 10, 2018

I was making a simple animation with 2 objects (one closer to the camera than the other) and nothing happens when I moved the camera in Z space.

Then I removed the camera and just tried moving the object(s) using the position numbers. Again, nothing.

I recently updated AE so I'm wondering if there is a setting or a bug causing this issue.

Thanks so much.

Camera works with 3D layers,

convert your layers to 3D , by clicking on the Cube icon next to the layer

Ensure you Comp is set to one of the perspective views - Active Camera or one of the Custom Views.
