A workaround to Library items not retaining their name

In After Effects, adding new items from the Library will not use their name, and instead always name it "Artwork 1". This has been a long-standing irritation, that has been marked as "solved" in other threads on these forums, despite not actually being solved.

I have found a way to work around this bug to get the naming to work:

In Windows, open Task Manager, switch to the Details tab and kill this process name - "CCLibrary.exe". Just right-click the name and choose "End task". I'm not sure what the equivalent process is on macOS, but should be similarly easy to execute.

You don't need to close After Effects or any other Adobe apps. The Library panel will go blank for a few seconds, but will reappear without any interaction required. Once it reappears, dragging items from the Library will now retain their names.

Adobe, please fix. Thanks.
