  • Issue

Since version 2025, when it comes time to add my compositions to the Render Queue (CTRL+M), it takes a long time before they are added. This was never a problem before. It was done instantly. I am doing the test on a local disk, so it is not a network slowness problem. I do the same operation with version 2024 which is still installed on my computer and I do not have this problem. I did a test: add 100 compositions to the Render Queue.     v2025=3min 22 sec    v2024=instantly

  • Adobe After Effects version number 25.1.0(Build 68)
  • Operating system  Windows 10 Pro 22H2
  • Steps to reproduce - CTRL+M
  • Expected result - Selected comps added to Render Queue instantly
  • Actual result -  Long wait for that to happend

Here's my output module file presets.
My default preset is named: QuickTime Animation+Alpha Straight MUET

I've reset AE's preferences. The Add to Render Queue command worked great.
I've re-imported my module settings. THEN it became slow. I don't know why, these were the same presets as AE 2024.
Something incompatible (or less compatible) beetween those versions.
I've rebuild my output module presets from s

Hello @Francois29491359ewma,

Do you use an output module template? If so, could you share that with us? As a naive test of adding 100 simple comps to the RQ only takes ~2 seconds in a check done internally.

I've rebuild my output module presets from scratch and it worked.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
