One of my compositions in After Effects wont render the effects in the adjustment layer or frame blending.

All my other compositions are rendering properly but this one wont render the adjustment layer or frame blending.

Any suggestions? x x x

There are thousands of ways to use effects and adjustment layers. If an adjustment layer has been set as a guide layer any effects applied will render in preview but they will not render using the Media Encoder or the Render Queue.

We need a complete workflow description and embedded screenshots of the comp with the modified properties of the problem layers showing. Just press the 'u' key twice, copy the file, then paste it to the forum or use the Toolbar to embed it. The "Drag and Drop tool is not very helpful for showing us screenshots.

Here is a screenshot with the adjustment layer. In the composition the adjustment layer adds a red/pink tint.

When viewed in the export settings in the media encoder & when rendered the effects in the adjustment layer are not showing.

Hope the screenshots help

See the green # in front of the layer name? That means it is a Guide layer. As I said, it will render in the comp panel, but it will not render in the Media Encoder or the Render Queue.

Right-click and turn off the Guide Layer switch.
