After Effects keeps crashing at the media core login screen especially when I have Red Giant products installed. So far trapcode suite and VFX suite since last Thursday (November 16th). Here’s some of the technical specs

After Effects: 24.01 (latest version crashes on start up)
Gfx Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU (Studio Driver version 546.01)
Processor: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13980HX, 2200 Mhz, 24 Core(s), 32 Logical Processor(s)
OS Name: Microsoft Windows 11 Home

Version: 10.0.22621 Build 22621
Laptop: ProArt Studiobook H7604JI

I’ve done a ddu and reinstalled the latest version of Nvidia drivers as well as tried the following versions and it keeps crashing too.

Game Ready Driver : 546.17, 537.34

Studio Driver: 546.01, 537.42, 528.97, 528.49 (unsupported with AE 2024)

I’ve checked and enabled all permissions in Adobe folders and Appdata folders.

Attached are two .txt files of the most consistent crash logs it generates but also a summary at the here.

1)
Exception Code:         0xc0000374

Exception Parameters:   0x7ffca25f38a0

Exception Message:      3221226356 A heap has been corrupted.

2)

3221226356 A heap has been corrupted

Exception Parameters:   Access violation reading location 0xffffffffffffffff

Exception Message:      3221225477 The instruction at 0x%p referenced memory at 0x%p. The memory could not be %s.

I’m really at a loss here and I need AE to function for work purposes. Please help!

OH MY GOSH I think this might be it. It opens now, will keep testing on continued stability as I work in it. Thank you so so much!

Also small note to everyone else, this update needs to be downloaded from the Microsoft Store app manually and it's different from Nvidia drivers and Windows drivers if anyone else is deep into troubleshooting mode

In addition, opening up the latest photoshop it gives this error even though I have the latest driver installed. But it still works past the start up screen.

It appears there was an update to the 'OpenCL™ and OpenGL® Compatibility Pack' application on the Microsoft Store that may be causing these new issues. Please try upgrading to the latest version and see if that resolves your startup issues. Thanks.
