I edit golf videos and part of my editing process usually has an over lay of the golf hole on every video.  I use a line to animate on it to help the viewer see where the shot lands.   I have been messing with screen recording google earth and trying to use the 3D camera tracker to animate my line to update my process but I'm stumped.  I can't draw the end point of the line to be further away.   I included an example of this YouTube groups video where they did basically what I'm talking about

The "gps cam" is what I'm trying to figure out how to do.   Does anyone have any suggestions?

It's probably just hand-animated. I can't see any 3D tracker usage in there nor would that technically be feasible without extra preparation, given how they use the camera.
