Advice on specs on laptop

Sure. The better question is what kind of projects you want to work in. That and of course decking out an i5 with an RTX card doesn't make the most sense, especialyl given AE's limted GPU acceleration. You could save a lot of money by getting a lesser GPU and for AE that same money would be better invested in a beefier CPU and more RAM.
