My After Effects v22.2 is always crashing after the second or third time I save a particular project, no matter really what the changes are.
At first it showed me a dialog box with either of these (not exactly verbatim, copied from my Google searches):
After Effects error: internal verification failure, bad numeric conversion: positive overflow
error getting size of handle (and an endless number in brackets)
Now it simply freezes around 64% saving progress for a bit, leaves behind these weird files
and soon crashes without any dialog.
So far I have tried: installing an older version of AE, resetting the preferences, wiping the most recently installed plugin, different saving locations, cleared & changed cache location, deleted the comp I was making changes in most recently, imported the project into an empty project. Interesting as well is that this problem does not occur with other project files, so it has to be something wrong with the project I guess.
Another info that might be of interest: The project is rather big, reaching 87MB in size.
I attached a few recent logs below, would be willing to hand out the project file to Adobe employees. Not sure if that would help, but I can also upload the .crash files somewhere, apparently can't attach them here.
Finally, here is some info on my machine:
Windows 10, always up to date
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3900x
MoBo: MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk
Really looking forward to any thoughts that can bring me closer to a solution! Happy to provide anything of interest.

Update: Tried in newest AE Beta build and the problem doesn't occur. However, AE Beta is horrendously slow for me and takes seconds to do anything. Like selecting a layer or changing the time indicator.

Also tried in AE 18.4.1 now and seems to work. Same plugins & scripts installed, weird!

Hi Valentin Macke,
Sorry for the crash.
Which plug-ins and scripts did you use in the project? If a plug-in or script is not updated or not supported by the version of After Effects (22.2 in your case), it can cause issues. Please share the project file and crash logs so that we can investigate.
We're here to help.
Thanks,
Nishu
