AE 2022 massive render speed drop from 2021

I have recently updated to AE 2022. The speed of final renders and preview renders has dropped by a factor of 10. It is simply unusable. I am confused as they are pusing MFR as a speed bump but it has had the exact OPPOSITE affect for me.

Before I get the usual, "clear the cache", "Update the drivers" comments ... I have been using AE in a professional capacity for 15 yrs. There is something up with AE 2022. I have rolled back to AE 2021 until this gets sorted. 

Adobe, there is something WRONG with the current version.

What are you computer specs?

Beside this, when did Adobe released an AE update, which does improve anything on the first try?

Still no improvement Adobe. MFR increase my render time by a factor of 4 to 5 times. When I switch it OFF, the renders go back to normal. What are you doing to sort this out ????

My spec -
Dual Xeon 12core's

64 gb DDR4 ECC

M2 drives
1080 ti 11gb

I got more then enough grunt. MFR is simply not working.
