AE 2024 slow to load Effects & Presets on booting

I am working in AE 2024 on a Mac Pro 2019 (Processor 16 core Intel Xeon, Graphics AMD Radeon Pro Vega II 32 GB, Memory 96GB, Mac OS Sonoma 14.5).

For a week or more when booting AE it takes approximately three to four minutes to load Effects & Presets. Furthermore, in the past few days when working in AE the mouse has frozen, and the computer automatically has shut down. Checking my third party plugins and scripts, they all appear to be up to date.

Does anyone have any ideas?

You try to launch After Effects by safe mode and compare your settings with the default settings. If After Effects is launched much faster, I would recommend you uninstall the third-party plug-ins you do not use.
